I have many years of experience with mechanical design as a draftsman, mechanical design engineer, process engineer, and manufacturing engineer using various CAD software and FEA simulation with Solidworks Simulation and Comsol. Also I am experienced at taking new design from concept to production. Contract Mechanical Engineer (part-time)

  • Create 3D designs and 2D drawings in Solidworks/NX/PTC Creo to meet customers’ needs
  • Product visual rendering with 3D Coat and KeyShot
  • Manage engineering projects from concept to production
  • Oversee mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure their tasks are completed on time and meet the project requirements
  • Oversee US and Asian suppliers to ensure production is completed on time and meet the project requirements
  • Manage BOMs (Bill Of Materials) for all SKU available for customer purchase
  • Maintain list of failures with severity level and steps to prevent them
  • Research and setup an inventory system to better manage MagTarget’s inventory (Soldworks PDM/PTC Windchill)

  • Work with electrical/firmware engineers on PCB/PCBA design

Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Evaluate new Applied Materials, Lam Research, Samsung, and Intel part for bid/production/business development.
  • Measure customer parts with CMM for process engineering for SPC.
  • Order consumables such as O-rings, gaskets, screws, nuts, and any mechanical tools for production line.
  • Use 3D printer to make simple fixtures and consumables for production
  • Research materials for design and use in fixture and jigs for production
